JO.

There it is; the one thing that I don’t freely share with others. I’m pretty transparent and usually tend to be an open book. I will tell anyone almost anything about me – except that. It’s the one little detail that, as an adult, I’ve tended to keep a secret. I don’t know why, since it was my father’s middle name and I adored him. He could do no wrong in my eyes, but for some reason, I couldn’t stand that I had that for a middle name. When I hear my whole name, there are images of pig tails and Elly May Clampett in my head.

From as far back as I can remember, all I wanted to do was go somewhere. I didn’t want to stay put, I wanted to see places, do things, and just experience the newness of it all. As I became a teenager, my dad would say to me, “Your middle name should have been GO.” How right he was!

I have wanderlust in my heart and often hear the words of Sebastian the crab in my head when he said that someone should nail Ariel’s fins to the floor. I am restless. I am curious. I am in awe of this wonderful creation and I want to see every. single. inch!

So, grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair.
